Ubuntu Tortoise SVN
Sun, 10 Oct 2010I really like Tortoise SVN but I needed an alternative for Linux on the laptop. And I found a great alternative for Tortoise SVN for Ubuntu and it works within Nautilus (The file explorer). I think it's GNOME only. Anyways, check it out RabbitVCS. You will have to configure a few things like the python plugin for nautilus, other than that it's pretty easy.
On the topic of SVN, I've been trying to find some nice private repositories to test before I commit to a monthly plan, if or when I have that much code. I think Beanstalk had the simplest and most attractive GUI, but Codesion is looking like my pick so far. Since Assembla stopped the free private hosting I decided to try some others out.
